Get ready for this cheerily goofy parody of all those gothic novels and old timey horror films. The day after he lost his first bride to the family curse, Jabez Thorngall brings a new bride to his home of Brackenloch to the surprise of his family, servants and neighbour. New bride Daphne is confronted by less than impressed relatives while having to deal with the family curse: any bride at Brackenloch Manor is doomed to die on her wedding day! Further disappearances and strange revelations about the past mean the whole household is soon drawn into the drama and together they must try to get to the truth behind the Curse of Brackenloch. Will Daphne survive the curse? Will she and Jabez get their happy ever after? Find out in The Bride of Brackenloch!

Speelgroep Reprise is a young theatre group consisting of students who want to bring English language Theatre to the South of Limburg in a fresh and appealing way. After two successful performances, this enthusiastic group cannot wait to show you its third production.

Lach je rot met deze vrolijke gekke parodie op griezelromans en ouderwetse horror films. De dag nadat hij zijn eerste bruid verloor aan de familievloek brengt Jabez Thorngall een nieuwe bruid mee naar zijn huis: Brackenloch Manor. Dit tot verrassing van zijn familie, bedienden en buren. De nieuwe bruid Daphne wordt geconfronteerd met niet-onder-de-indruk-zijnde verwanten terwijl ze ook te maken krijgt met de familievloek: Elke bruid in Brackenloch Manor is gedoemd om te sterven op haar trouwdag! Verdere verdwijningen en vreemde onthullingen over het verleden betekenen dat al snel het hele huishouden meegesleurd wordt in het drama en samen moeten zij achter de waarheid van de Vloek van Brackenloch zien te komen. Zal Daphne de vloek overleven? Zal zij met Jabez hun ‘happy ever after’ krijgen? Kom erachter in The Bride of Brackenloch!

Speelgroep Reprise is een jong theatergezelschap bestaande uit studenten met als doel om Engelstalige theaterwerken op een frisse manier naar Zuid-Limburg te brengen. Na twee succesvolle voorstellingen staat deze gezellige groep te popelen om hun derde stuk voor u op te voeren.
